Installing Pricing Table
There are 2 options to install your Pricing Table: as a section using Shopify's theme editor, or using the simple shortcode.
Using Shopify's theme editor is a simple way to insert your table into your home page using a visual interface. However, the editor only allows you to insert the table into the home page and not any other pages. Should you want your table on another page, you can add it using the shortcode.
Installing on Home Page using Shopify Theme Editor
- Open the Theme Editor by navigating to the "Online Store" page and clicking "Customize".
- Click on the "Add Section" button from the left navigation bar.
- Look under the "Hooked" subheader for the "Pricing Table" section, click on it and click "select".
- Choose the table name from the drop-down.
- Click the back arrow "<" button and adjust the location of the table by dragging the section.
- Once you're happy with the table and the positioning, click "Save" in the top right corner.
Installing on Any Page
- Open your Pricing Table in the Pricing Table Editor.
- Open the "Install" tab and select and copy the entire shortcode.
- Navigate to the Theme Code Editor by clicking "Online Store" > "Actions" > "Edit Code"
- Under "Templates" either create a new template or select the template page you wish to use. In this example, we create a new template for a separate Pricing Page.
- If creating a new template file, you can select the type of template (like page or blog) and a name. Choose a recognizable name.
- Paste the shortcode in the desired position. Here we paste the shortcode below the page content. Note that your page contents may differ.
- Click "Save" in the top right corner.
- If you created a new template file, you will have to enable the template file so that it is used on the right page. Go to the page that you want, and select the template from the drop-down. Here we apply our "pricing-page" template. Make sure to save afterwards.
- View the page on your website to see your table in action.
